Meet Our Wound Care Professionals

Dr. McCauley is an East Tennessee native who grew up in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. His education was primarily mathematics and science, which allowed him to enter medical school. He has been board-certified in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1991. He continues to recertify annually to stay up to date with the latest developments in this and other fields of medicine. He has been nationally recognized for his creativity and advancements in office-based gynecology procedures. He and his family have lived in Knoxville since 1989, and he has enjoyed a busy practice during this tenure. With a robust surgical background, Dr. McCauley decided to use these skills in a grossly underserved area of medicine. He recently completed his training in wound care and is excited to be a part of creating this new clinic where he, along with Dr. Unger and their staff, will be able to treat patients who need wound care. He desires to provide comprehensive management to expedite patient healing and recovery. In his free time, he enjoys beekeeping, wood-turning, and many other outdoor activities.
